Department of Game and Fish staff will be assisting Project Healing Waters as they take approximately 7 veterans fishing in northern NM.
This will be a fishing event for invited media at Fenton Lake to learn basic fishing skills, attend a tour of Seven Springs Fish Hatchery and discuss restoration efforts of the Rio Grande Cutthroat Trout and the importance of hunting and fishing in tourism and local economies.

The Bernardo Tour Route will be closed to vehicle and walk‐in access on Saturday, December 7, 2019 until 1:00 PM to ensure public safety during youth hunts on the Bernardo Wildlife Management Area.
