Students 10 and under must have a parent/adult present with them during class. All students MUST complete the Today’s Hunter student manual homework before participating in class. Students can pick up a free hard copy manual at City of Clovis Shooting Range, 726 County Rd. 17, Clovis, NM 88101. The manual can also be downloaded for free at https://www.hunter-ed.com/newmexico/manual/. Students are required to turn in their completed manual worksheets upon arrival to class.

Department staff will be running a wildlife station at Caballo Lake State Park. This event is closed to the public.
The NM Department of Game and Fish is hosting a shotgun shooting training clinic for adult women who have never shot or have very limited experience with shooting shotguns. Trained staff will teach safety, basic shooting techniques, cleaning the gun and how to properly shoot a shotgun and be successful at shooting clays.
Shotguns, ammo and clays will be provided. Please bring a lunch, water, sunscreen and whatever else you need, we will not be taking a full lunch, and there are not any food places near by.

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Off-Highway Vehicle Program will present an ATV safety class provided by the Village of Los Lunas Open Space Division. Students earn the safety permit required for off-highway vehicle operators under the age of 18 years. ATVs and safety gear are available for use during the class.
