This event is sponsored by Las Cruces Public Schools. This event for special needs students in the Las Cruces public school system. The first two days are scheduled for the students and caregivers while the third day is for the students and their families. Historically, we have seen over 150 students during the first two days. The teachers have been working with the students since the beginning of the school year on casting, etc., so our goal for this event is to simply get the kids fishing and catch fish. This event is closed to the public.
