This event is for the students of Southwest Primary Learning Center in Albuquerque. The fishing workshop will cover safety, knots, equipment and casting, followed by a fishing clinic held at Tingley Beach.

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Aquatic Education program will present a Beginning Fly Fishing course at the Corrales Community Center. We will go over and practice the essential skills necessary to fly fish. The topics covered will include casting, insects, rigs, equipment, knots and reading water.
This event is for the students of Lutheran Elementary school in Roswell. The fishing workshop will cover safety, knots, equipment and casting followed by a fishing clinic held at Lake Van.
NMDGF will be participating at the Prairie Partners event in Tucumcari, New Mexico.

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish (NMDGF) is accepting applications from the public to be appointed by the State Game Commission to the Habitat Stamp Program Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC represents the Habitat Stamp Program as a volunteer working group with the NMDGF. Members of the CAC work with program and project managers from the NMDGF, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and US Forest Service (USFS) to represent New Mexico public interest as it pertains to fish and wildlife habitat restoration projects that occur on BLM and USFS lands throughout New Mexico.
· The deadline to apply is December 15th, 2023 at 5pm MST
