Escalante High students will learn fishing skills and participate in fisheries monitoring at Trout Stalker Ranch and Cooper’s Ranch on the Rio Chama. This event is only open to students from the school and is not open to the public.

This hunt is a collaboration of VPR and NMDGF to reward HE graduates from within the year who excel on their HE course. Additionally, one volunteer instructor also is rewarded this hunt opportunity as well for their service and dedication to the NMDGF. The NM Wild Sheep Foundation sponsors the elk tags.
