Deadline: 2021-22 Harvest Report (Avoid Application Rejection)

Deadline to submit 2021–22 harvest reports for Barbary sheep, ibex, javelina, oryx and trapper license holders to be eligible for big-game licenses. Results can be reported online or by telephone.

Failure to report for these species by this date will result in rejection of all applications. An $8 late fee applies after April 7, 2022. Remember to keep your confirmation number.

The NMDGF Aquatic Education program will be assisting Las Cruces Public Middle / high School Adaptive EE / Recreational Therapy classes for three fishing days at NMSU Alumni Pond. The event is sponsored by the NMSU Bass Fishing Club, and an estimated 72 participants per day will be fishing.

Fishing @ Los Lucernos Historic Site

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center and Los Luceros Historic Site are creating the New Mexico Outdoor Pass program, a FREE booklet and community events for families where everyone gets rewarded for spending time outside. Participants will explore eight themes relating to the nature and culture of the region to earn stamps and prizes. One of the themes is FISH! I For this event i will cover hook safety, knots, casting and fishing in the Rio Grande.
