The Department will be hosting a pre-bid Zoom meeting to answer questions potential contractors may have about becoming a Department hunting/shooting/fishing camp contractor. We will provide an overview of what responsibilities the contractor would have as well as general requirements.
Overview: Camp contractors will host day and overnight hunting, fishing and shooting camps, as needed and determined by the Department. We encourage anyone interested in becoming a camp contractor to attend this meeting. However, attendance is NOT MANDATORY to place a bid. **This Law Enforcement Training Event is Closed to the Public**
The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Off-Highway Vehicle Program presents a class on ATV safe operation for Law Enforcement. Class was requested by BIA for their LEOs and is one of three blocks being put on. This class is rescheduled from the class canceled on Nov. 20, 2023, due to inclement weather.
The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish (NMDGF) is accepting applications from the public to be appointed by the State Game Commission to the Habitat Stamp Program Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC represents the Habitat Stamp Program as a volunteer working group with the NMDGF. Members of the CAC work with program and project managers from the NMDGF, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and US Forest Service (USFS) to represent New Mexico public interest as it pertains to fish and wildlife habitat restoration projects that occur on BLM and USFS lands throughout New Mexico.
