In this session, students will learn how to collect, analyze and report their findings from watershed monitoring and report the impacts to fisheries’ water quality standards and fish health. Staffing is provided by Department contractor, Richard Schrader and Carlos Herrera.

Anglers can fish for free in New Mexico on Saturday, Sept. 25, as the state celebrates National Hunting and Fishing Day.

Anyone can fish for free in public fishing waters throughout the state Saturday, Sept. 25, but everyone must observe bag limits and all other rules and regulations. For more information, please visit www.wildlife.state.nm.us.
