Gallinas Riverfest @ Las Vegas, NM

Come to the Gallinas Riverfest in Las Vegas Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Department staff will join Hermit’s Peak Watershed Alliance, Trout Unlimited, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and community partners to help you learn how to cast, tie knots, identify the best fishing holes and how to care for a fly rod. Fenton Lake Fishing & Seven Springs Hatchery Media Event @ Fenton Lake & Seven Springs Fish Hatchery

This will be a fishing event for invited media at Fenton Lake to learn basic fishing skills, attend a tour of Seven Springs Fish Hatchery and discuss restoration efforts of the Rio Grande Cutthroat Trout and the importance of hunting and fishing in tourism and local economies.
