River Source will work with students to learn about fisheries monitoring during a virtual field trip for 46 students from Sierra Vista School. In this session, students will learn how to collect, analyze and report their findings from watershed monitoring and report the impacts to fisheries’ water quality standards and fish health. Staffing is provided by Department contractor, Richard Schrader and Carlos Herrera.

Registration opens March 1st, 2021 and closes May 7th, 2021 – (10 PM).

Go to www.nasptournament.org to register a team or individual.

Teams may consist of 12-24 archers which must include no fewer than four of each gender. Schools can have an unlimited number of individual participants.

Wild Turkeys Virtual Presentation & Artwork @ Los Alamos

NMDGF will be giving a virtual presentation to a Boy Scout troop in Los Alamos, NM. The presentation will be on wild turkeys and at the end of the presentation kids will do some art work.

Deadline: 2020-21 Harvest Report (Avoid Application Rejection)

Deadline to submit 2020–21 harvest reports for Barbary sheep, ibex, javelina, oryx and trapper license holders to be eligible for big-game licenses. Results can be reported online or by telephone.

Failure to report for these species by this date will result in rejection of all applications. An $8 late fee applies after April 7, 2021. Remember to keep your confirmation number.
