Fisheries Monitoring Virtual Field Trip @ Zoom Virtual Classes

River Source will work with students to run two virtual classroom/fields using fisheries monitoring and watershed health curriculum on the Santa Fe River.
Approximately 30 students will participate in the event. Staffing is provided by a Department contractor, Richard Schrader and Carlos Herrera. This is event is closed to public.

The success of New Mexico’s bighorn sheep program has created expanded opportunities for both wildlife viewers and hunters. Caitlin Ruhl, bighorn sheep program manager, will talk about bighorn sheep and how the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish manages populations across the state.

We will also talk about the importance of taking hunter education and how to get you or your kids into a class.
