Anything and everything pertaining to game management for the northeastern portion of the state.
Education:
M.S. from Texas Tech University in wildlife sciences. B.S. from University of Wisconsin -- Stevens Point in wildlife and biology with a minor in GIS and spatial analysis.
Length of Service:
Two years, five months.
Specialty or Interest:
I have a general interest in learning as much about the species I work with and staying as current with new information as possible. I enjoy having to dig through scientific literature to find answers to management questions for just about everything.
Current Projects/Assignments:
Currently working on the proposed changes to the Antelope-Private Lands Use System and beginning to update our species distribution maps.
Best Thing About the Job:
The best part of the job so far has been working with a very diverse staff on a very diverse suite of species. I never imagined I would be working with pronghorn, elk, bighorn sheep, etc., on a regular basis.
