Most Common Question People Have:

"Where's the best place to fish?"

Answer:

The "honey hole" on Eagle Nest Lake. This area is halfway between the dam and the old hotel on the east side of the lake.  It can be accessed by boat or on foot from the Moreno Day Use parking lot. This lot is free to park in and from the parking lot just walk south along the bank until you get to the bluffs. As for river fishing, the Cimarron is good in the spring and summer months, with plenty of fish to catch.  The biggest fish are in the special trout waters.
