Big-Game Unit 33 (Unit Maps on Website)
Information: This property consists of 162 acres located in GMU 33, southeast of Roswell, NM off County Road 409. The ranch sits along the Pecos River in the Bottomless Lakes overflow. The property is predominantly covered by a mixture of brush and tall grasses along the river. It provides fishing access to a short 0.4 mile stretch of river (one bank) and sits across the bank from the Riverview Ranch Shooting Preserve, a fee hunting operation that stocks pheasant, quail, chukar and mallard ducks, for the operations clients.
This property is a part of a two-property Open Gate complex that, along with the surrounding public lands, helps open most of the Bottomless Lakes overflow area to hunting and fishing.
