Open Gate Boundary Map OG-141 Winston

Information: Open Gate funds are used to pay an access fee to the landowner for granting a right-of-way across the landowner’s property so that outdoor recreationalists may have better access to US Forest Service lands.
Purpose: The purpose of this lease is to provide access to properly licensed and license-exempt sportspersons through the property owned by the landowner.

Permitted Activities: Public travel across the landowner’s property is only permitted on the designated roadway as specified in the Open Gate right of way agreement between the Department of Game and Fish and the landowner. Access to the property is subject to the terms and conditions in the Open Gate right of way agreement and is restricted to the following:

Public travel across the property on the designated roadway connecting to US Forest Service lands as shown on the attached Boundary Map. Year-round, through August 9, 2022 Game in the area may include deer, elk, turkey, bear, cougar, furbearers, dove, quail, squirrel and nongame species

 

Property Rules: The following rules will be posted on this property and enforced at the discretion of the Department of Game and Fish.

  • Travel on private property is restricted to designated roads for ingress and egress to neighboring State Trust, State Game Commission owned, and Federal lands
  • No hunting, fishing, or trapping on private property without written permission or consent of landowner
  • No littering
  • No destructive acts, including vandalism, theft, removal or defacing natural features, resources or signs
