This workshop is for certification as a Basic Archery Instructor for participation in the National Archery in the Schools Program. The Department will be hosting a pre-bid Zoom meeting to answer questions potential contractors may have about becoming a Department hunting/shooting/fishing camp contractor. We will provide an overview of what responsibilities the contractor would have as well as general requirements.
Overview: Camp contractors will host day and overnight hunting, fishing and shooting camps, as needed and determined by the Department. We encourage anyone interested in becoming a camp contractor to attend this meeting. However, attendance is NOT MANDATORY to place a bid. Aquatic Education staff will be running the casting skills station for up to 25 fifth grade students at a time. The casting skills station will be one of four activity stations at the festival, and students will rotate and participate in all four stations.
