This course will be conducted during the school day to Dexter High School students seeking hunter education certification to meet hunting requirements in New Mexico. This course is an instructor-led, student course that incorporates lecture, video, break-out sessions, review methods and homework to educate students. All students will complete the Today’s Hunter student manual homework during class. Students pick up a free hard copy manual during Felix Hernandez’s class. The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish OHV program was asked to provide certified ROV training to employees of Los Alamos National Laboratories who use UTVs as part of their official duties. Students will be registered manually after reporting their CINs. This event is closed to the public.

Las Cruces Public Schools and Hillrise Elementary are having a career day for children attending the school on Sept. 23, 2022. An estimated 400 elementary-aged students from the school will be participating in the event. This event is closed to the public.
The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish was asked to provide certified ROV training to first responders of the Pojoaque Police Department. This event is free but not open to the public. The training will be held in the Pueblo of Pojoaque, New Mexico at a closed to the public outdoor training facility.
