NMDGF Law Enforcement Q&A: Vocational Rehabilitation Transition Services @ Webinar

Join us for this special opportunity for students to engage in vocational conversation with law enforcement officers from the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish. Ask questions important to your transition and career plans in conservation, law enforcement, and/or wildlife management at this one-time event.

Outdoor Adventure Day @ Shady Lakes
Jan 15 all-day

The NMDGF Aquatic / Archery Education will be participating in an outdoor experience for 35 disadvantaged Native and Latino students. The students will be participating in six outdoor stations in conjunction with the NMWF. All participants have never fished, or shot with a bow and arrow, and will be introduced to six outdoor station activities.

Have you ever wondered how the Department sets hunt dates, harvest limits and overall hunt structure?

2022 is a big year for hunting in New Mexico. The Department and State Game Commission will be reviewing nine rules that oversee big game hunting. It is an excellent time for everyone to get involved. We will give you the meat and potatoes for the rule-setting process during the January session.
