Students 10 and under must have a parent/adult present with them during class. All students MUST complete the Today’s Hunter student manual homework before participating in class. The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will be giving a wildlife presentation to wildlife students at Valencia High School. This event is not open to the public.
NASP is an in-school program that introduces target archery to students in 4th-12th grade. Annually the department hosts the New Mexico NASP State Tournament to recognize top teams and individuals throughout the state. We anticipate over 600 archers for this event with 120 archers shooting every hour. Only NASP-certified teams my participate. Team and individual registration at https://nasptournaments.org/.

This course incorporates less lecture and review and adds more hands-on components. All students MUST complete the Today’s Hunter student manual homework before class. The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Off-Highway Vehicle Program presents an ATV safety class provided by the Village of Los Lunas Open Space Division. Students earn the safety permit required for off-highway vehicle operators under the age of 18 years.
ATVs and safety gear are available for use during the class.
