LAS VEGAS – Game and Fish officers are looking for information that would assist them in solving a case where two cow elk were illegally killed and left to rot on the Wallace Ranch, north of Las Vegas, New Mexico during the end of Dec. or beginning of Jan.
On Jan 2, 2015, officers investigated two elk that were shot from the road near mile marker 7 on Hwy 518. A white Toyota 4-Runner with large tires and a black rack on top of the cab was seen in the area.
The Department offers rewards for information that leads to the arrest or charges against wildlife law violators.
