RULE BOOK CORRECTION: PACIFIC FLYWAY NORTH GOOSE SEASON SEPT. 26-OCT. 11

SANTA FE -- The first of two goose hunting seasons in the north zone of the Pacific Flyway is Sept. 26 through Oct. 11, 2009. The season dates published in the Small-Game Rules & Information booklet are incorrect.

In New Mexico, the Pacific Flyway includes all property west of the Continental Divide in the far western portion of the state, with Interstate 40 dividing the north and south zones. The second goose season in the Pacific Flyway north zone is Nov. 2, 2009, through Jan. 31, 2010. The daily bag limits for both seasons is 3 dark geese and 10 light geese.
