EAGLE NEST LAKE OPEN TO ICE FISHING AND OHVS

EAGLE NEST --  Eagle Nest Lake is now open to ice fishing and to all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles, the Department of Game and Fish and the State Parks Division announced.

The only access to and from the ice for OHVs will be the south boat ramp. There will be no access at Moreno or Six-Mile day-use areas to avoid shoreline destruction.

The ice currently averages 14.77 inches thick.
