Department seeking information on a mule deer killed out of season

RIO ARRIBA COUNTY – On August 29, 2016 Sergeant Matt Anthony received a report of a mule deer that had been killed with its head removed and the meat taken. It was found off forest road 357 near Cedar Springs campground. Tire tracks, rubber gloves and a blue tarp were found near the site and collected as evidence. The Department is seeking information leading to charges being filed.
