The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish (NMDGF) is accepting applications from the public to be appointed by the State Game Commission to the Habitat Stamp Program Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC represents the Habitat Stamp Program as a volunteer working group with the NMDGF. Members of the CAC work with program and project managers from the NMDGF, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and US Forest Service (USFS) to represent New Mexico public interest as it pertains to fish and wildlife habitat restoration projects that occur on BLM and USFS lands throughout New Mexico.

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Off-Highway Vehicle Program presents an ATV safety class hosted by the City of Albuquerque Shooting Range Park. Students earn the safety permit required for off-highway vehicle operators under the age of 18 years. Student under the age of 18 completing the ATV class will receive a free helmet and goggles.
ATVs and safety gear are available for use during the class.
