NM Desert Dogs presents a day of fishing, fun, and music open to kids at Lake Van in Dexter, NM.
This class is open to any lady who is interested in learning the basics of fly fishing. The morning session will focus on fly fishing equipment selection, knot tying, selecting lures/flies, casting instruction and general discussions on where to go. The afternoon session will be on the water! Casting and fishing instruction will be provided by professional fishing guides and Trout Unlimited -Enchanted Circle Chapter volunteers. Loaner equipment will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have it.
This class will be offered by volunteers from the Enchanted Circle Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
Registration opens July XX at 9am at XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. To qualify for the camp, participants must have a Customer Identification Number account with the department and complete the required homework before attending.
