We will meet virtually every week, sometimes multiple times a week, to discuss the draw, how to apply, options for hunter education and reading the draw odds report. We will also have our big game biologists on hand to answer questions.
In this session: Nicole Tatman, big game program manager, will be on hand to answer questions about applying for and hunting oryx, ibex and Barbary sheep in New Mexico.

Deadline to submit late 2021–22 harvest reports for deer, elk, pronghorn antelope and turkey. All 2021–22 license holders must report to be eligible for 2022–23 draw licenses. Reports can be submitted online or by telephone.
Failure to report for these species by this date will result in rejection of all draw applications. An $8 late fee applies after February 15, 2022. Remember to keep your confirmation number.

The NMDGF Aquatic Education Program will be providing equipment, bait and tackle for fishing with 44, K – 2nd Grade students, assisted by chaperones & teachers at Eagle Nest Lake. The fishing trip is a school sponsored event with the help of NMDGF.

This event is for the Mesa View 1st grade class. The workshop will consist of safety, knots, gear, and casting, followed by fishing at the Riverwalk.

The NMDGF Aquatic Education program will be assisting Las Cruces Public Middle / high School Adaptive EE / Recreational Therapy classes for three fishing days at NMSU Alumni Pond. The event is sponsored by the NMSU Bass Fishing Club, and an estimated 72 participants per day will be fishing.

15 – 20 students from Dolores Gonzales Elementary School’s 5th grade class will be fishing with NMDGF Aquatic Education program at Tingley Beach, Albuquerque, NM on April 29, 2022.

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center and Los Luceros Historic Site are creating the New Mexico Outdoor Pass program, a FREE booklet and community events for families where everyone gets rewarded for spending time outside. Participants will explore eight themes relating to the nature and culture of the region to earn stamps and prizes. One of the themes is FISH! I For this event i will cover hook safety, knots, casting and fishing in the Rio Grande.
These workshops and clinics are for the students of Mesa View school in Grants NM. Workshops will cover hook safety, knots, casting and Fishing in New Mexico. Fishing clinics will be contcted at the Riverwalk park and Bluewater State Park.

The NMDGF Aquatic Education program will be fishing with 100 Kindergarten elementary school students from Lydia Rippey School Fishing Day, at Riverside Park Pond, Aztec, New Mexico. Many of the students have never fished before.
