Las Cruces Public Schools and Hillrise Elementary are having a career day for children attending the school on Sept. 23, 2022. An estimated 400 elementary-aged students from the school will be participating in the event. This event is closed to the public.
The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish was asked to provide certified ROV training to first responders of the Pojoaque Police Department. This event is free but not open to the public. The training will be held in the Pueblo of Pojoaque, New Mexico at a closed to the public outdoor training facility.

This workshop is required to become a certified hunter education instructor and will certify the individual to teach both the traditional and the field day hunter education student courses. This workshop also provides a New Mexico Hunter Education Certification to new instructors who need a required New Mexico hunter education number. All participants must register prior to attending. NMDGF employees are encouraged to participate in a 3D archery fun shoot at the Santa Fe office. Beginners are welcome and all equipment (user friendly) is provided. The archery range will be a walking range (just like if you were golfing) but with 10-15 targets. Archers will be groups with two to three other archers to walk the range. Each archer will shoot once, score their arrow and proceed to the next target. Scores will be tabulated at the conclusion of the event. This event is closed to the public.
