A Field Day course is an accelerated, instructor-led hunter education course and is for students 10 years of age and older. Students under 11 must have a parent/adult present with them during class. This course incorporates less lecture and review and adds more hands-on components. All students MUST complete the Today’s Hunter student manual homework before class. NASP is an in-school program that introduces target archery to students in 4th-12th grade. Annually the department hosts the New Mexico NASP State Tournament to recognize top teams and individuals throughout the state.
