These events are for the 3rd grade students of Carlos Gilbert School. On the first day we will cover hook safety, knots, gear construction and casting. On the second day, working in teams of three we will do fish disection. On May 12 we will be fishing at Monistary Lake.

These events are for the 1st grade students of Sydney School. The workshop will cover hook safety, knots, gear construction and casting. After the workshop we will go fishing at Lake Van.

This camp is for participants of any age who is interested in learning more about the basics of archery and bowhunting. Participants will learn archery basics and safety, how to choose equipment, proper shot placement while hunting, outdoor preparedness, and more! All archery equipment will be provided. Participants are responsible for food and drinks.
Registration opens on April 18. Registration forms will be available for download off the following Game & Fish web page, https://www.wildlife.state.nm.us/education/skills-camps/ and click on the Shooting tab. All participants must have a Department Customer Id Number (CIN) Account and enter this number onto the registration form. Youth under 18 must have a parent or adult present during the camp.
