C.A.S.T. for Kids events enrich the lives of children with special needs, support their families, and strengthen communities through the sport of fishing. On May 7, a C.A.S.T. for Kids event will take place at Navajo Lake. Community volunteers will be attending to take up to 40 special kids and their parents/guardians fishing and boating on the lake. Fishing will be followed by a picnic lunch for all, and an awards ceremony where each child is honored. All participants receive a free rod and reel, tackle box, event t-shirt, cap, and award plaque.
